Description

A hip technique throw. Break your opponent’s balance to his front or right front corner, then enter shallowly with your right hip while wrapping your right arm around his waist, and twist to the left to throw him over and around your hips without raising them of bending forward.

Kuzushi:

  • Bring your partner forward so their weight is on their toes.


Tsukuri:

  • Step forward and get the underhook on your partner's waist or across their back.

  • Turn until you're facing perpendicular as your partner.

  • Load your partner onto the side of your hip.


Kake:

  • Twist your hip and use the momentum to throw your partner.

  • Pull your partner's sleeve toward the side you're throwing them to.
