Sensei Takehito Ikezaki holds a Shodan (1st degree) black belt in Kodokan Judo. He started his Judo journey when he was 4 years old in his hometown of Hokkaido, Japan.
 

He trained actively until his graduation from the National Institute of Technology, Hakodate College in 2012. He took 1st place on a regional tournament in Hokkaido and 3rd place on a national tournament held by the Japanese association of KOSEN Federation in 2011.

Takehito came to New York in September of 2019, in his late 20s, and started his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey in 2021.
